Call for public inquiry after light experiment under pylons

Robert:     I tried this in the past but as I recall, our magnetic field readings in the house were closer to 2.5 mg at the time which means the load on the lines was not particularly high.

Our readings are usually between 6.5 mg and 10.0 mg now so I will try and remember to repeat this experiment as soon as I can be outdoors comfortably.   Today, it is minus 35 degrees below zero here -- very dangerous and we are staying inside for most part.   I had heard tho that even over 30 years ago, someone did hold a fluorescent bulb under the same powerlines and it did light up.   There are certain times when the lines "buzz" -- apparently due to changes in humidity -- which may affect results.

I have a picture in front of me of a tiny girl -- Katelyn Adams (2-1/2 years old) , who will be undergoing chemo for Leukemia until some time in 2010.    I sent a long email to her mom -- a nurse at nearby hospital -- actually turned on computer again just before midnight and stayed up to accomplish this.

The mom, of course, needs to look for everything possible that is "positive."   This little one has not got the 90% chance of survival but rather 75% chance due to blasts in her spinal fluid as opposed to marrow.   The mom said "Leukemia at least treatable......."

I become "nauseous with anger" thinking about how the rest of her life is ruined in many ways not to mention how scared she is when all hospital personnel w/exception of massage therapist comes into her hospital room.     Also how sick she is as she and her family bravely deal with hairloss, her bloated belly due to massive amounts of dangerous steroids, stomach discomfort, the surgically installed port, etc., etc.  The cancer societies think it is o.k. because "treatable!!!"     This is "outrageous" -- like being "treated by Mengele during World War II.....!!!!!"

Bud and I met a woman yesterday at opthamologist's office.   She overheard me talking about night exposures and said "I sleep right next to the electric meter."   Turns out she also has a touchlamp on the other side of the bed.    This soft-spoken, pleasant woman broke into tears when we told her "move the bed away and get the touchlamp out of the bedroom and you will get better and maybe even well....!!!!    She admitted she barely sleeps at all and that she has terrible arthritis.

We are adding the lady's neighborhood to the hundreds of other homes we know have electric meters on bedroom walls to "flyer distribution" as soon as weather moderates.     Take care  -  Joanne
