Do magnetic fields cause childhood Leukemia via disruption of melatonin?

SUBJECT:    WHERE ARE ANNOUNCEMENTS RE NEED FOR MELATONIN?

The study (access below) by Prof. Denis Henshaw and Dr. Russel Reiter has been circulated in the past.

The importance of informing the public of the need to provide distance between themselves and their families and electric appliances and telephone equipment can not be emphasized enough when considering the link to childhood Leukaemia and electric fields.   The numbver of symptoms alone before a child develops Leukaemia involve "nightmare stories and endless costs."

The knowledge that melatonin may forestall the onset of two devastating neurodegnerative diseases  -- Parkinsons and Alzheimers -- surely can not be ignored.    The fact there is evidence of the role melatonin plays insofar as reducing severity of these tragic illnesses also can not be ignored.   Supposedly, once a person has a diagnosis of Alzheimers, "no improvement" should be expected.

We know my own husband, Bud, improved in one part of his Executive Function after I moved his electric clock radio off his nightstand and started him on nightly melatonin.    We also know, Bud improved in two more parts of his Executive Function after I discotinued his statin (Lipitor).   While Bud still does have a diagnosis re "symptoms" -- "moderate to severe memory loss and cognitive impairment," he, nevertheless, does not actually have "a diagnosis" any more.    Bud really has "reactive dementia" due to disruption in his own melatonin levels as result of sleeping close to an electric clock radio.   Bud was additionally affected by he fact that the Lipitor robbed his brain of protective Coenzyme Q-10.   We can ill afford to have medications prescribed for anyone while persons are not being informed of the vital need to practice "prudent avoidance" re bedroom exposures.

Study after study confirms links and benefits.   I wonder when and if the public will ever be informed?    I ask, "what is the purpose of studies if no one uses the information to help the public and only uses one study to justify the reason to conduct more studies?"     Take care  -  Joanne
