We were told the boys' blood was being sent to a researcher at the
University of Minnesota -- Dr. Fatih Uckun.  We were never informed
Dr. Uckun was a researcher funded by EMF RAPID.  We have never been
informed of Dr. Uckun's findings that immune deficiency and childhood
Leukemia are linked to low levels of EMR.   On my computer, in the
middle of the night, I  discovered the article "Hughes Institute
Latest EMF Studies"  [  http://www.feb.se/EMF-L/EMFL-3-98.html ]  re
Dr. Uckun's statement that he was surprised that exposures to low
level EMF/EMR produce the same symptoms/changes as ionizing radiation
(not verbatim).

We were informed the boy's problems might lead to lymphoma, leukemia,
stomach or colon cancers.  Their T cells were o.k.   Our grandsons'
problems involved antibody deficiency -- B cells.   Uckun et al
studies re EMF RAPID Conclusions and the link to immune deficiency and
childhood leukemia reported findings re the BTK Gene -- B cells.

Blood was submitted for genetic testing by parents and grandparents.
None of us matched.........   The immunologist said "........has to be
environmental......."      I asked, "what about the high voltage
powerlines only 50 ft. from the front of our house?"    The doctor
responded, "well, we know EMF's affect mice but we don't know how much
of what happens to mice happens to people."

It took quite a few months after that day before I discovered both
boys were sleeping next to "powerwalls" (walls opposite electric
meters).   We had, of course stopped watching them in our home
immediately after the immunologist's statement re the mice.
Improvement in both boys was noticeable and documented by the week
following removal from waterbeds, placement in regular beds away from
the powerwall.    Dramatic improvement not only in considerable
reduction of asthma symptoms and sinus infections but also increases
in appetite, improved sleep and mood, etc.   All of this improvement
in spite of the homes for both boys being less than 300 ft. from high
voltage powerlines.

I have the article from "USA Today" that was sent to me by the
American Cancer Society in 1993 containing the Society's file number "
2 RAD ____ ."     The article recommends moving electric clocks away
from beds and cautions re electric blankets, etc.

We know we have thousands of studies since that time that involve
electric field exposures whether "EMF/EMR" is the purpose of the study
or not.   Most studies involve variations of such "close exposures."
Hundreds of those EMF studies are yours Olle -- your colleagues and
you working hard to discover ways to help improve the lives of many
[ . http://www.icems.eu/docs/Johansson_papers.pdf  ]  ......    Yet,
even the famous Karolinska Institute does not help you in your efforts
to inform the public regarding the need for persons to reduce bedroom
EMF/EMR exposures.    You deserve the highest accolades and
commendations but instead, are ridiculed and shunned by those with the
power to help you save so many from that which is best-described as
"torture!"

We would jail any parent who would deliberately allow their child to
ingest a toxic substance thereby causing  needless suffering, pain and
even a potentially life-threatening diagnosis.   EMF's are listed as
"hazardous substances" by the National Institute of Health.   The U.S.

Instead, we parents and grandparents "cry out" to help prevent others
from the same fate -- the physical, emotional and economic devastation
that results from an innocent baby being placed by an electric meter
or other electric appliances and/or telephone equipment, including an
incubator intended to "save a life!"   We cry, beg, plead and inform
but during all the time these tragic events are unfolding, society
turns a blind eye and deaf ear toward our plight.

A wonderful mom, Bonnie Boyum, an RN, here in the Twin Cities of
Minnesota, knows chronic, close, electric field exposures also take
the lives of adults.  Her precious 23 yr. old son, Michael Boyum, died
from Acute Myelogenous Leukemia.   She reported to me that he had an
electric clock and a fan on the headboard of his waterbed.    Michael
was a teacher who asked that his family carry on his wishe to help
children.  Michael's voice is still being heard by some but, it is
time for the world to hear.........   Michael would want parents to
know there are a whole lot of painful and unpleasant symptoms that
occur prior to the development of Leukemia -- asthma, sinus
infections, other infections, autism-spectrum disorders, ADD, ADHD,
headaches, depression, insomnia and more, all of which might be
reduced by over 51%!

I hope this email can be circulated to all of the universities around-
the-world so countless professors will nominate you, Olle, for the
Nobel Prize in Medicine.  Hints of your dedication and bravery are
