On the front

3, a
report on the PhD thesis of Dirk Adang, presented yesterday June 23,
2008 at
University of Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium.
An
epidemiological study on free moving rats* submitted for 21 months (+ 3
months)
(i.e. their life span**) 2 hours a day, 7/7 to
27 V/m PULSED or CONTINUOUS 1 Ghz or 10 Ghz microwaves.
(* free
moving rats : i.e. no confounding stress factor due to lack of
mobility as
in some other studies, and good simulation of human beings, except when
they
are stuck in traffic jams!)
(**rat life =
2,5 years , i.e. 21 months life of rats compares to approx. 65 year
life of
humans, i.e. this is a long term epidemiological study).
I was present at
the presentation and sitting next to the only journalist present
(Christophe
Schoune, LE SOIR) to help him grasp the best of the talk. Dirk should
send me
his PowerPoint presentation in the coming days.
